Blasts from a not too brilliant past!

So, the best thing about cleaning out portfolios and stacked canvases... Is finding these old pieces of an old style. These paintings were training pieces for me.

Now and back then...

The newest acrylic that I've been working on based off of a poem written about characters within a traveling circus. My twins entitled, "Solange and Félez".
The interesting thing about this piece is that I've painted it before as an oil. It was the fourth oil painting that I ever did. And it was unfinished. The original doubled in size and still retained the intent. However, it didn't turn put in the direction I needed it to go. So, 5 years later, I'm doing it the right way.
