This is the year for art. I'm not slated to do any theatre this season... at all. So, what better time to get back to my roots of art?
I saw an art friend of mine post pictures of her artwork that made it into this magazine, Spectrum. I do love her work: http://www.art-by-mia.com/ (check her stuff out!)
I was intrigued by the magazine and went to their site. It seems they have a submission contest. . . I think I will enter. If I don't get into the magazine, that's fine. At least I can say that I did try to do something I've never done.
Many thanks to Mia, even though she has no idea it was because of her post that I'm doing this. That is why I say go and check out her works. Absolutely brilliant!
